Science and Communication
The science of communication begins with the way single cell bacteria—the first living organisms to inhabit the earth three and a half billion years ago—sent messages internally and interacted with their environment. In this hour-long lecture to The Humanist Community of Silicon Valley I first discuss how communication drives human evolution. Then I turn my attention to how scientific information is being communicated to the public through popular culture.
